Fishin' Shootin' and Makin' Wishes

We love fishing as a family, it's something we've done for years. I'm glad we have friends who have similar interest and can tolerate our loud and hyper family. We fished, we shot our guns, we grilled some delicious food, and most of all, we had fun. The pictures in this post were taken over two different weekends, but capture the same good friends and location.  Alexandria is finally getting interested in a little fishing, for a few minutes anyways.  Mr. Bream whisperer himself.  He can catch bream like nobody's business and often out-fishes any adults around.  Amy's catch! She's so awesome.  Logan's catch. He's so weird. I don't know exactly what he was going for here.   Mine and Alexandria's fish. This was actually the first fish she's ever helped reel in! Victoria made wishes and picked flowers, she wasn't too interested in fishing this day.

Sylvania Lake

Living in a rural area has its perks. One of them being local parks and lakes that aren't covered with people. In April I decided we would have a small cookout at Sylvania Lake and spend the day with a few friends and family. The day ended up being bitterly cold, but that didn't stop us from enjoying some time together and doing a little fishing. Here's a few pictures from our time at the lake:
